Been doin' some thinkin'!

So, the other day, Wednesday as a matter of fact, I decide, hey, I'm going to see the lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! I live in NYC and dang it, I'm going. So, I get my girls together and we met up and head up to the tree. Yeah, OK, see, how can you get to the tree if EVERY single corner is closed off and they won't let you cross the street? The people were EVERYWHERE and the cops were rude and Alicia's attitude, yeah, not the best. She's yelling at me, saying she's upset at the cop, I'm no dummy! LOL, so we have a discussion, rather loud one, about the difference between me and the cop. Once she realizes just how horrible she treated me, all was well. OK, so that didn't really happen, but it made me feel better. We finally make it across the street by breaking through a barrier and running across the street with a bunch of other people. We get to Friday's and decided we are getting NO WHERE near the tree and decide to go have dinner instead. Yeah, worked for me. :-) We did take a picture after to commemorate our wonderful experience. Oh and so you know, I did try to go over to the tree and it was no where to be seen, there were so many people and the cop said people had been there for hours holding spots. So, lesson learned, watch it on TV! But, I will say, if I had done that, I wouldn't be blogging right now. LOL

Today, 12-2-05, I was on the phone with my friend Tina and she had just caught up on my blog. One of her first questions, who's Dustin? I'm like, what? There was no Dustin in my blog. Well, she was talking about The Great Pastor Reverend D, who had posted a comment on my blog. See, TGPRD, he's a hoot. He loves to rag me about my "southerness", my Deidre Hall/Days stuff, and well, everything else. Since he and Keli got married, they have not been back to NYC to visit. I do miss. So, I explained to Tina about TGPRD and now she so thinks he's a hoot too. :-)
